Body in suitcase: Victim died of slash wounds, say Kajang cops

KAJANG: The cause of death of a woman found dead and stuffed inside a suitcase here was due to slash wounds, says the police.

When contacted, Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof said that the post-mortem determined that slash wounds to the head were the cause of death.

“No parts of the victim’s body were dismembered or severed,” he said Tuesday (June 30).

He added that the house where the suitcase was found had been rented to a foreign husband and wife since February 2026.

On June 28, ACP Naazron said that the body was found inside a suitcase in a house in Taman Impian Indah.

No identification papers were found on the body during the discovery, he added.
