Five injured in three-vehicle collision at Gua Musang


KOTA BARU: A man suffered a broken leg while four others sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle collision near Damai Kuari on the Kuala Krai-Gua Musang Road on Thursday (June 4).

Gua Musang Fire and Rescue Station chief Muhammad Azrul Izzham Zulkifli said the accident involved a sedan, an SUV and an MPV.

"The driver of the sedan suffered a broken leg, while the driver of the SUV and three men travelling in the MPV sustained minor injuries.

"All the victims had been extricated by members of the public before firefighters arrived at the scene at 12.44pm,” he said.

The victims, aged between their 20s and 30s, were taken to Gua Musang Hospital for treatment, while firefighters cleared accident debris to ensure the road was safe for motorists. — Bernama
