Thunderstorm warning for seven states until 1pm


KUALA LUMPUR: Seven states have been warned to expect thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds until 1pm on Friday (April 17).

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) said in a statement that the states include Perak (Bagan Datuk and Hilir Perak), Pahang (Maran, Kuantan, Bera, Pekan and Rompin), Selangor (Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Klang, Kuala Langat and Sepang), and Negri Sembilan (Port Dickson).

Also affected are Melaka, Johor (Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat and Pontian) and Sarawak (Kuching, Samarahan and Sri Aman). – Bernama
