Temporary closure of left lane at Kempas toll plaza from Feb 27

KUALA LUMPUR: The leftmost lane at the Kempas Toll Plaza (southbound) on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) will be temporarily closed from 9pm Friday (Feb 27) until 8am on Sunday.

In a statement, PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) said that the lane closure is for road surface improvement work at KM7.80 to improve convenience for highway users.

Heavy vehicles exceeding the width limit are also advised to use alternative routes during this period.

"Highway users are advised to plan their journeys using the PLUS App to get the latest traffic information. They are also advised to comply with all traffic signs and instructions issued by PLUS personnel when travelling through the affected stretch.

"Highway users can also obtain the latest traffic information via the PUTRI Virtual Assistant, the X@plustrafik App, and Electronic Message Displays (VMS) at selected locations. The public can also call the PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000 if they need assistance in case of an emergency, according to the statement. - Bernama
