Shah Alam cops hunting cross-dressing burglar caught in the act on CCTV

SHAH ALAM: A manhunt is underway after a suspect dressed in women's clothing broke into a home in Seksyen 7 here.

Shah Alam OCPD ACP Ramsay Embol said a woman lodged a report on Wednesday (Feb 18), stating that her rented house had been broken into while she was on holiday.

"After returning from her trip, she found the main door open and the interior in a mess.

"CCTV footage showed an unidentified man breaking into the house at 9.26am on Wednesday," he said in a statement on Thursday (Feb 19).

The footage also showed that the suspect disguised himself as a woman by wearing a tudung and carrying a handbag, possibly to deflect suspicion from neighbourhood residents, he added.

ACP Ramsay said no items were reported stolen, and police were in the process of tracking down the suspect.
