Man caught masturbating in public at uni seminar for school kids

KUALA LUMPUR: A man was arrested for masturbating in public at a lecture hall during a seminar for secondary school students.

Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Rosdi Daud said that a report of the matter was lodged on Feb 7 following the incident at a university in Cheras.

“The suspect, a male in his mid-20s, was subsequently arrested by Cheras police in the Sri Petaling area on Feb 9.

“The motive for the incident is still under investigation. He has been remanded for three days, until Feb 11,” he said in a statement on Monday (Feb 9).

ACP Rosdi said that investigations showed the suspect was not a student of the university.

Earlier in the day, a social media post on the act was uploaded online showing the suspect being confronted while in a compromised manner.
