Cops seeking man who allegedly groped woman in LRT


KUALA LUMPUR: A woman was allegedly groped in a crowded LRT train here.

City police chief Comm Datuk Fadil Marsus said the incident occurred on Jan 15 at around 7.20pm at the Kerinchi LRT station.

"During the incident, the victim was groped on her backside by an unknown man.

"The victim could not identify the suspect because he wore a face mask and the train was crowded at the time," he said in a statement on Saturday (Jan 13)

"Investigations are being conducted under Section 354 of the Penal Code for assault or use of criminal force to a person with intent to outrage modesty.
