Tunku Kecil Muda heads Negri honours list 


SEREMBAN: The Tunku Kecil Muda of Negri Sembilan, Tunku Mahmood Fawzy Tunku Muhiyiddin, heads the list of 532 recipients of titles and awards in conjunction with the 78th birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, today.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Tunku Mahmood Fawzy is the sole recipient of the Darjah Seri Setia Tuanku Muhriz Yang Amat Terbilang (SSTM) which carries the title of Datuk Seri.

Auditor-General Datuk Seri Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi is the sole recipient of the Darjah Seri Setia Negeri Sembilan Yang Amat Cemerlang (SSNS), which also carries the title Datuk Seri.

There will be six recipients of the Darjah Dato’ Paduka Negeri Sembilan (DPNS) which comes with a Datukship.

They are Seremban High Court Judge Datuk Ahmad Shahrir Mohd Salleh, state exco member Datuk Mohd Faizal Ramli, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia vice-chancellor Prof Sufian Jusoh, Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar orthopedic consultant Dr Abdul Muttalib Abdul Wahid, Panglima Armada Barat Laksamana Madya Datuk Mohamad Azuwan Harun and lawyer Mohamed Ridza Mohamed Abdulla.

There are four recipients of the Darjah Setia Tuanku Muhriz Yang Amat Gemilang (DSTM) which also carries the title Datuk.

They are Penghulu Luak Jempol Mazri Mansol, Khazanah Nasional Bhd executive director Suhana Dewi Selamat, Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM neurologist Assoc Prof Dr Wan Asyraf Wan Zaidi and lawyer Saravana Kumar Segaran.

Twenty individuals will receive the Darjah Setia Bakti Negeri Sembilan or DBNS which also comes with a Datukship.

They are High Court judicial commissioner Datuk Edwin Paramjothy Michael Muniandy, Royal Signals Regiment strategic operations and development (cyber division) senior director Brig-Jen Hamidi Achin, state Islamic Affairs Department director Mohd Asri Abdullah, state deputy police chief Senior Asst Comm Muhammad Idzam Jaafar and NS Corporation chief executive officer Norazhar Musa

Other recipients are Fire and Rescue Department deputy director-general Othman Abdullah, the Army’s Western Field Command Headquarters director-general Mejar-Jen Shahril Ahmad, Negri Sembilan Development Corpo­ration chief executive officer Rusmimah Mat Derus and Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade Brig-Jen Zamri Othman.

Esat Sdn Bhd managing director Abd Latif A. Tambi, Tuah Hartamas Development Sdn Bhd managing director Ahmad Faez Abdul Razak, Bubbles O2 Sdn Bhd executive chairman Arifin Marzuki, Glokal Ihsan Malaysia adviser Hamid Mohd Sidek, Mutiara Kayamas Sdn Bhd director Kapt (Rtd) Mohd Yusoff Abd Aziz, political officer to state senior exco member Noor Azmi Yusof, Acolite Holding Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Tan Fong Nam, Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur allergy and immunology consultant Prof Woo Chee Keen as well as assemblymen for Seremban Jaya P. Gunasekaren, Dr G. Rajasekaran (Sri Tanjung) and Yew Boon Lye (Chuah) are also recipients of the DBNS award.

Twelve individuals will receive the Darjah Setia Negeri Sembilan (DNS), the Darjah Tuanku Muhriz (one), Darjah Pekerti Terpilih (24), Ahli Setia Negeri Sembilan (71), Setiawan Tuanku Muhriz (one), Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang Masyarakat (147), Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (229), Bentara Tuanku Muhriz (eight) and Pingat Khidmat Lama (seven).
