King wishes Sultan of Brunei speedy recovery from knee surgery


PETALING JAYA: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has conveyed his best wishes to the Sultan of Brunei ahead of a scheduled knee treatment.

In a message posted on His Majesty’s official Facebook page, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar said he and the people of Malaysia prayed for the well-being of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, who was due to undergo treatment beginning Jan 18.

“Myself and the people pray that Your Majesty will safely undergo the treatment and be granted holy blessings for a complete recovery, with all related matters eased,” His Majesty said.
