Hajiji joins Madani govt retreat in Bangi


Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim being greeted by state and federal leaders at the Madani government retreat held at the EPF Learning Campus Bangi, Selangor.

KUALA LUMPUR: A delegation led by Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, attended the two-day 2026 Madani government retreat at the EPF Learning Centre Bangi in Selangor, beginning Saturday (Jan 11).

In a statement released by the Chief Minister’s office, the Sabah delegation included Deputy Chief Minister I Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Joachim Gunsalam, Finance Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun and Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Ariffin Arif.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim delivered a keynote address on the first day of the retreat.

On the second day, Hajiji also presented a discussion paper on current issues of public interest from Sabah’s perspective.

Also present were deputy prime ministers - Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Amar Fadillah Yusuf, Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh, Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg and several mentri besar, including Datuk Seri Amiruddin Shari (Selangor), Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail (Pahang), Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi (Johor) and Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad (Perak), as well as federal Cabinet ministers.
