Inmates granted early release take the chance to mend their ways

KOTA KINABALU: Inmates selected for early conditional release to mark the Christmas season see this as an opportunity to turn over a new leaf.

“I am grateful to be selected for this licensed release programme (or parole). This is a chance for me to rebuild my life and fix my mistakes,” said a former chef who wants to be known as Patrick.
