Man hacked to death in Klang


PETALING JAYA: A 34-year-old man was hacked to death during a fight in Taman Sentosa, Klang, on Wednesday (Dec 17) night.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Shazeli Kahar said police received information on the incident via MERS 999 at 11.10pm.

"The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code (for murder) and the motive is still under investigation," he said in a statement on Thursday (Dec 18).

Those who witnessed the incident or have information are urged to assist the investigation by contacting senior criminal investigation officer Asst Supt Mohamed Syahrir Zabidi at 012-665 0895 or the South Klang district police operations room at 03-3376 2222.
