Bung hospitalised with lung infection

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Barisan chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin is reportedly undergoing intensive treatment for lung infection.

While the severity of his illness has not been disclosed, sources close to the family hinted that Bung had been admitted to a private hospital’s intensive care unit as he is critically ill.

It is learnt that the Lamag assemblyman had suffered from the infection since Nov 15 but continued to carry on with his campaigns for the Nov 29 state election.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor prayed for the recovery of Bung, and shared a post sending well wishes on his Facebook page.

“May Allah grant strength and protection to Bung and his whole family in facing this challenge,” he posted, in hoping that Bung would recover soon.
