Hajiji’s new Cabinet to be sworn in today


KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor is set to form his 11 member state cabinet on Monday (Dec 1).

A swearing-in ceremony for 10 ministers by Governor Tun Musa Aman is scheduled for 2pm, senior Gabungan Rakyat Sabah leaders confirmed.

Hajiji, who was sworn in on Sunday morning after GRS formed a coalition to secure a simple majority of 37 seats, will hold a press conference.

The press conference on cabinet appointments and coalition details is set for 3.30pm at Sri Gaya, his official residence.

GRS won 29 seats and Upko won three in the Sabah polls.

Parti KDM and Pakatan Harapan won one each, while five independents also won seats.
