PETALING JAYA: No single coalition secured a simple majority in the Sabah election.
The largest coalition, GRS, won 29 seats, which is short of the 37 needed for a simple majority in the 73-seat state assembly.
Warisan emerged as the second-strongest performer with 25 seats while Barisan Nasional came third with 6 seats.
Here's what the political balance of power looks like among the major alliances in Sabah:
Warisan secured 288,703 of the 1.13 mil votes, followed by GRS with 286,389 and BN with 144,584 votes.
The remaining votes were distributed among smaller parties and Independent candidates.
