Flood evacuees nationwide rise to 33,526


PETALING JAYA: The number of flood evacuees nationwide stands at 33,526 people from 10,193 families, with 298 temporary relief centres (PPS) operating across 34 districts in nine states as of 4pm on Saturday (Nov 29), says the National Disaster Control Centre.

TERENGGANU remains the worst-hit state, with 10,156 evacuees from 2,917 families housed at 110 PPS across seven districts.
