Sabah declares Nov 29 polling day a public holiday


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah has declared Nov 29 polling day as a public holiday, said state secretary Datuk Seri Safar Untong.

He said a gazette for the holiday has been issued. According to the gazette, Sabah Governor Tun Musa Aman appointed Nov 29 as a public holiday under Section 9 of the Holidays Ordinance.

Sabah will head to the polls this Saturday.
