Likas Children’s Hospital receives RM20,000 worth of medical equipment


KOTA KINABALU: Essential medical equipment worth RM20,000 has been donated to Likas Children’s Hospital by the Osimal Foundation.

The Sabah-based charity organisation donated three feeding machines and one breathing machine for infants with severe medical conditions.

Osimal Foundation founder and trustee Tun Richard Malanjum extended his sincere appreciation to supporters and donors who made this contribution possible.

He also expressed his gratitude to Datuk Seri Vincent Lye, Chua Su Yin of the Datuk Chua Song Lim Foundation, Datin Koh Sai Eng, and Dr Angeline Chong from Kudat, Sabah.

“We hope that more beneficiaries will come forward to support the Foundation’s ongoing humanitarian efforts,” he said, adding that donations to Osimal Foundation are tax-exempt.

The foundation also assured that it would make every effort to assist the hospital in getting an additional four sets of breathing machines.
