SUPERSTAR Eason Chan, who recently wrapped up his Fear and Dreams World Tour, was spotted sporting a fresh new hairstyle while watching a tennis match in Hong Kong, China Press reported.
Fans shared photos of the singer dressed in yellow as he attended the Hong Kong Tennis Open at Victoria Park.
What stood out was that Chan had ditched his signature curly perm for a short, cropped cut.
The 51-year-old’s new look quickly sparked chatter online, with many netizens admitting they barely recognised him at first glance.
“Thought it was an Eason impersonator,” one joked.
While some fans thought the new haircut made Chan look younger, many urged him to switch to the old hairstyle.
“High forehead. Please don’t cut it too short,” one netizen wrote.
It was reported that Chan is currently on a break after completing 182 shows on his world tour.

The 23-year-old agreed to meet the woman at a hotel, but upon entering the room, was ambushed by two men who claimed to be her husband and cousin.

After receiving a report from the victim, police arrested six suspects in four locations on Nov 14.
“The six suspects will be remanded for seven days until Nov 21 to assist with investigation,” he said, adding that they will be investigated under Section 395 and 397 of the Penal Code for robbery.
