Man arrested in Klang after threatening police and bailiff


SHAH ALAM: Police arrested a man after he provoked and threatened a Shah Alam High Court bailiff and police personnel who were carrying out their duties at a house in Pandamaran, Klang.

North Klang OCPD Asst Comm Ramli Kasa said the bailiff and police personnel were serving a High Court writ of summons at the house at about 3.30pm Tuesday (Nov 11) when a man came out and allegedly provoked them by smashing a glass bottle and uttering threats.

"The man was arrested for obstructing civil servants from carrying out their duties and making criminal threats. Further investigation is ongoing,” he said in a statement late Tuesday.

He also advised the public to comply with court orders to avoid facing legal action. – Bernama
