Ministry committed to boosting homeownership

KUALA LUMPUR: The Housing and Local Government Ministry remains committed to identifying more inclusive and flexible ways to help Malaysians own homes, in line with the government’s aspiration to ensure “shelter for all”, says Nga Kor Ming.

The Housing and Local Government Minister said the ministry has implemented various initiatives under the Affordable Housing Policy, which sets the ceiling price for affordable homes at RM300,000, subject to state housing policies.
