'Inspector Sheila' strikes again, shouts at cops in Jalan Ipoh

KUALA LUMPUR: "Inspector Sheila" aka Sheila Sharon Steven Kumar has struck once again, this time claiming that a foreigner was wrongfully detained here.

The incident occurred on Tuesday (Nov 4) at around 9.30pm near a fast food restaurant in Jalan Ipoh.

At the time, a police team detained a 34-year-old Pakistani man after identifying that he had been operating his vehicle without a license.

During the inspection, the now-suspended policewoman appeared and accused the arresting team of not knowing the law, all the while belittling their actions.

She also claimed that the police had threatened the Pakistani man.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Fadil Marsus, when contacted, confirmed the incident.

He also confirmed that Sheila had been suspended from her duties since June 23 2023.

The case is currently being investigated under Section 186 of the Penal Code and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act.

A video of the confrontation has also been uploaded on social media, showing Sheila shouting at a group of policemen while holding her handphone towards them.
