KOTA KINABALU: It will be a do-or-die battle for Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan as he defends the Tambunan seat held by his family for the last five decades.

The 78-year-old Sabah rights political activist seems to have a daunting task of retaining the seat with his decision to pull his native-based party Sabah STAR out of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).
