Penang cops seize RM3.4mil worth of drugs, cripple drug syndicate with arrest of seven


GEORGE TOWN: Police have crippled a drug syndicate with the arrest of seven individuals, including two foreign women, and seizing methylenedioxy-N-hydroxy-N-methylamphetamine (MDMA) worth RM3.4mil.

State police chief Comm Datuk Azizee Ismail said the suspects were arrested at two different location in George Town and Seberang Jaya during an operation conducted by a police team from George Town and the Central Seberang Perai Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department on Oct 30 between 4pm to 3am on the following day.
