Negri Sembilan housing expo to showcase RM2.3bil in properties

SEREMBAN: Properties worth some RM2.3bil will be showcased at the state-level Malaysia Property Expo (Mapex NS 2025) to be held here over four days beginning Nov 4.

The Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association (Rehda) said 15 developers and one financial institution will participate in the expo at the Aeon Mall in Seremban 2.

"In total, the developers will be showcasing 2,927 properties, including terrace houses, semi-detached homes, bungalows, high-rise residences, shop offices, and even water chalets," said state Rehda chairperson Datuk Desmond Yap Poh Seng in a statement.

Yap said the properties are located in various townships in Negri Sembilan as well as neighbouring Melaka.

The participating developers include Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd, IJM Land Bhd, Sime Darby Property (Ainsdale) Sdn Bhd, Seri Pajam Development Sdn Bhd, Cangkat Hartamas Sdn  Bhd, KL Metro Property Development  Sdn  Bhd, Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia and Sunrise MCL Land Sdn Bhd.

Yap urged those looking for properties to visit the expo, as homeownership in Negri Sembilan is more affordable than in Klang Valley and Selangor, with many landed homes priced below RM500,000.

"Negri Sembilan continues to attract homebuyers and investors seeking affordable, high-quality living within reach of the Klang Valley.

"Strategically located just 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, the state is well-connected through the North–South Expressway, Kajang-Seremban Highway and Seremban-Port Dickson  Highway, offering residents seamless access to Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and the KL International Airport," he said.

Negri Sembilan, he added, was also fast emerging as a thriving economic hub, driven by strong investment inflows under Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 and the Negri Sembilan Development Plan 2045.

"The rise in industrial and commercial investments continues to create new job opportunities,  particularly for professionals and skilled workers in the Greater Klang Valley area," he added.

Yap said visitors to Mapex NS 2025 would enjoy exclusive property deals and rebates from participating developers.

In addition, Rehda will be giving away RM20,000 in cash prizes through a Grand Lucky Draw on Nov 9 to 20 lucky homebuyers.
