Man killed after tree falls onto pickup truck in Hulu Selangor


PETALING JAYA: A man was killed after a tree fell on the car he was driving on Jalan Batang Kali here.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said his department received a call about the incident at 2.14pm on Monday (Oct 20) and a rescue team arrived at 2.35pm.

"The operations commander reported that a tree had fallen and crushed a 4x4 pickup, killing a man who was in it," he said.

Efforts to retrieve the body are still underway.
