Kedah cops nab four teens over alleged gang rape, sharing sex video on social media


ALOR SETAR: Four teenagers, including three students, were arrested by police for allegedly being involved in a gang rape of a girl and distributing pornographic material on social media.

Baling acting OCPD Deputy Supt Ahmad Salimi Mat Ali said police received a report from a woman on Sunday at about 11am after being informed by a disciplinary teacher about the circulation of a nude video clip of her daughter.

Following the report, police detained three students and a former student of the school on the same day at about 9.30pm to assist investigation.

It was learnt that the suspects were allegedly involved in sexual acts in several classes at the school between May and August.

"All suspects have been remanded for five days and their hand phones have been confiscated," he added.

The case is being investigated under Section 375B of the Penal Code.
