Full pathology report on Bandar Utama stabbing in a month, says Selangor police chief

KUALA LUMPUR: The full pathology report on the case of a female student who was fatally stabbed at SMK Bandar Utama 4 is expected to be completed in about a month.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Shazeli Kahar said the report requires detailed analysis by pathology experts in view of the comprehensive investigation being carried out.

"The report will be quite detailed and is expected to take at least a month to complete.

However, the police are working closely with pathologists,” he told a press conference after a walkabout in conjunction with upcoming Deepavali celebrations on Thursday (Oct 16).

He urged the public and media to allow the police sufficient space to finalise the investigation meticulously.

“Give us time to do our job. If there are any new and significant developments, we will inform the public,” he said.
