Special EC meeting on Sabah polls set for Oct 16 in Kota Kinabalu


KOTA KINABALU: A special meeting for the 17th Sabah State Election will be held at the Sabah Federal Government Administrative Complex here on Thursday (Oct 16).

The Election Commission (EC), in a note to editors on Monday, said the meeting would begin at 10am, followed by a press conference scheduled for 11am.

"All media representatives are invited to cover the event," it said.

On Oct 5, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor announced the dissolution of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly to pave the way for the 17th state election. - Bernama
