OKU woman dies after falling from 15th floor of Shah Alam apartment


SHAH ALAM: A woman with a history of mental health issues fell to her death at an apartment block in Seksyen 16, here.

In a statement on Saturday (Oct 4), Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the police were notified of the incident on Oct 3 at around 6.15pm.

The complainant had told the police that a woman had fallen from the Ken Rimba apartment.

“Preliminary investigations show that the woman had fallen from the 15th floor of the apartment and died at the scene.

"Checks showed that she was a resident there and that she is a person with disabilities (OKU) cardholder for mental health issues.

ACP Mohd Iqbal said there were no signs of struggle or foul play related injuries that were detected on the body.

The case is being investigated as a Sudden Death Report.
