Sabah state assembly to be dissolved before Nov 11, says Hajiji

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah legislative assembly will be dissolved to pave the way for the 17th state election before its automatic dissolution on Nov 11, says Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

However, the Chief Minister stopped short of saying whether the state assembly’s dissolution would be announced next month or in November, Berita Harian reported.

He said it would not depend on the meteorology department’s weather predictions, after the department said Sabah would experience wet weather in October.

"We must dissolve it before (Nov 11)", he added.
