A MARRIAGE ended in divorce over something as trivial as bean sprouts, Kosmo! reported.

A woman known only as Rose revealed that she married a man named Ari despite their parents’ disapproval as she was drawn to his kind and loving nature.

However, months into the marriage, she discovered his obsession with bean sprouts, a vegetable she has despised since childhood.

“If I have to eat vegetables, I can force myself. But bean sprouts? I just can’t eat them,” she said.

Rose said Ari had forced her to finish the dish no matter how sick it made her feel.

“He told me that during his childhood, his mother would make him eat bean sprouts – the only vegetable they could afford.

“If he refused, his mother would scold him for being ungrateful,” Rose said.

Unable to endure what she described as “emotional torture”, she eventually filed for divorce.

> Singer Aina Abdul has become the talk of the town following her recent win at Anugerah Industri Muzik ke-24 (AIM24), reported Utusan Malaysia.

“This achievement at AIM is not about proving anyone wrong.

“The entertainment world has its ups and downs, and what matters most is giving my best to listeners,” she said.

Instead of feeling disheartened, she views criticism as motivation, adding that she chooses not to dwell on negativity.

“There’s always a silver lining – I’m happy because it means my name is being talked about, and to me, that’s also a form of appreciation,” she added.
