‘Make WWII site a historic landmark’


THE Malaysian Armed Forces Indian Veterans Association has been encouraged to apply for the gazettement of the Operation Zipper landing site as a historic monument, Makkal Osai reported.

Selangor executive councillor V. Papparaidu made the remarks during the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the historic World War II event at Morib Beach in Banting, Klang.
