KANGAR: The remand period of a crane driver suspected of abusing his six-year-old nephew has been extended for another two days.

Kangar OCPD Asst Comm Yusharifuddin Mohd Yusop said Magistrate Ana Rozana Mohd Nor of the Kangar Magistrates' Court granted the extension on Wednesday (Sept 10).

"During this period, investigation papers will be referred to the Perlis Deputy Public Prosecutor's office for further action," he said briefly in a statement on Wednesday.
