TAIWANESE singer Jam Hsiao (pic) suffered a wardrobe malfunction during a concert recently when he split the front of his trousers while performing a dance number, reported China Press.

The 38-year-old was a guest performer at a concert paying homage to retiring Taiwanese baseball legend Lin Chih-sheng at the Taipei Dome, a stadium used mainly for baseball games.

While performing his classic Princess, the seam at the front of his trousers split, revealing burgundy boxers.

Unfazed and ever the professional, Hsiao quickly tied his jacket around his waist and completed the performance.

This was Hsiao’s first performance at the Taipei Dome and the crowd sang along with his classics, including other hits likes Skin and Let Me Sing a Love Song for You.

It was also reported that more than 30,000 spectators attended the concert that day, which shattered the weekday attendance record at the stadium for a baseball game set 36 years ago.

Many pointed out that the huge turnout was a testament to the combined star power of Hsiao and Lin.

> A man in Guizhou, China, died from snake venom after playing with a cobra and hanging the reptile around his neck, reported China Press.

The incident took place at a village named Dazhai on Sept 2 when a man was captured on video holding a snake while smoking a cigarette.

He hung the reptile around his neck and even allowed it to slither through the holes of his jeans.

The video went viral, sparking a debate about the safety of the man’s stunt.

On Sept 9, a village official confirmed that the man in the video was bitten by a cobra and died on the way to hospital.

The victim’s brother had caught the snake while harvesting padi.

Cobras are venomous and if a person is bitten, they could die if anti-venom is not administered quickly.
