Police outrider assigned to Istana Negara dies after colliding with fallen tree

HULU SELANGOR: A police outrider assigned to Istana Negara tragically lost his life in a road accident.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Ibrahim Husin, in a statement on Tuesday (Sept 2), said that the incident occurred earlier the same day when the 32-year-old policeman was en route to work. While travelling to Kuala Lumpur along Jalan Sg Tua Ulu Yam, he encountered a fallen tree but was unable to manoeuvre out of the way in time, resulting in the crash.

“His death was confirmed by medical officers at the scene,” he stated.

His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, also extended his condolences to the family of Corporal Muhammad Faizal Ab Razak through his official Facebook page.
