PETALING JAYA: The deferment of the Urban Renewal Bill will allow further consultation to ensure the proposed law is fair and transparent, says Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye.
Welcoming the move, the Alliance for a Safe Community chairman said the government must use this period to refine the legislation through greater engagement with the public.
