PM praises human graphics performance at National Day event

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim praises the Human Graphics performance at the National Day celebration on Sunday (Aug 31) 2025 as the best in the country's history.

He states the performance, involving 2,000 school students from across the country under the Education Ministry, is one of the main highlights at Dataran Putrajaya and serves as a powerful expression of youth patriotism.

"I am proud of our children. This is the best performance in Malaysia’s history. Study well and keep up the effort," Anwar tells the young performers in a brief message of appreciation on Sunday (Aug 31).

After the celebrations conclude, Anwar takes a brief walk around Dataran Putrajaya to greet visitors and members of the public.

He is joined by his Deputy Prime Ministers Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, who also commend the event for fostering unity and rekindling national pride.

"I wish everyone a Happy National Day. May unity among all Malaysians continue to grow, and may we set aside our differences," Ahmad Zahid briefly tells reporters during the event.

Fadillah echoes Ahmad Zahid’s view, adding that the performances are excellent in uplifting the spirit of togetherness.

"What matters now is that we remain united to ensure Malaysia continues to prosper for the wellbeing of all," Fadillah tells reporters after the event.

The human graphic performance itself involves a spectacular coordination from all its participants, who use coloured pom-poms to display various shapes such as the Jalur Gemilang.
