PETALING JAYA: A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Johor early on Sunday (Aug 24). It was followed by a 2.8-magnitude tremor just a few hours later.

According to analysis by MetMalaysia, the geographical events occurred at 6:13 AM and 9:00 AM, respectively.
