Third motorcyclist dies on way to biking event


PETALING JAYA: Another motorcyclist headed to a biking enthusiasts' event has died at in an accident near Dungun, Terengganu – the third death involving participants headed to the gathering.

According to Dungun OCPD Supt Maizura Abdul Kadir, the victim, who was riding a motorcycle, grazed another motorcycle at KM3 of the LPT2, near the Bukit Besi Rest and Recreation (R&R) stop in Dungun ata around noon on Friday (Aug 22).

The victim, Hariz Fahmi Shaizuren Amin, 29, from Seri Kembangan, Selangor, died at the scene from his injuries.

Supt Maizura said initial investigations found the victim was on his way to the RXZ Members 7.0 2025 programme with several others.

He added that the victim's body had been taken to the Dungun Hospital's forensic unit for further action. – Bernama
