Putrajaya launches ‘Bersama Malaysiaku’ photo campaign

PETALING JAYA: In the spirit of the coming National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations, a “Bersama Malaysiaku” campaign to showcase the contributions of ordinary Malaysians has been launched.

Senior Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Tunku Nashrul Abaidah said the campaign reflected the government’s appreciation of the rakyat who have been steadfast in the country’s progress.

“This nation was built by its people. From padi fields to skyscrapers, national development has come from the hands of Malaysians who serve in extraordinary ways.

“It is sacrifices like these that elevate the nation’s dignity,” he said during a briefing on the Prime Minister’s Facebook page yesterday.

Running until Sept 30, Tunku Nashrul said the campaign invites Malaysians from all walks of life to share photographs capturing their everyday acts of service.

These images, collectively titled “Wajah Malaysia”, will be curated to reflect the country’s rich socio-economic and cultural fabric, he added.

The public can participate by uploading their photos at the official campaign website bersamamalaysiaku.malaysiamadani.gov.my.

Selected images will be featured across the Prime Minister’s social media platforms, government agency channels, national television and digital billboards as a visual reminder that independence was not merely a historical milestone, but a collective journey driven by every citizen.

Tunku Nashrul said the campaign complemented the aspirations of the 13th Malaysia Plan, which will be tabled by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Parliament on July 31.

“The plan is centred on compassion and justice, a vision of nation-building that recognises every contribution, no matter how small, as vital to Malaysia Madani.

“Let us mark this National Month with a photograph that speaks a thousand words for the nation we love,” he said.
