Singer Amy files police report against Shila Amzah


SHAH ALAM: Datuk Amy Search has filed a police report against singer Shila Amzah, say police.

"Yes, the report was made. However it was more of a 'covering report' and a denial. The report has been referred to the Dang Wangi police station. The report was made yesterday (July 15)," Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said when contacted on Wednesday (July 16).

Lawyer Datuk M. Rexa Hassan told Sinar Harian that his client Amy filed the report after giving his statement to the police.

On July 10, singer Shila Amzah filed a police report alleging she was attacked by a singer.

Shila later revealed it to be Amy.

Police have taken statements from both parties.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Amy was unhappy with Shila, whom he accused of interfering in his family's affairs.
