Student slashed by ex-boyfriend at private university in Subang Jaya


SUBANG JAYA: A college student has been attacked with a knife, allegedly by her former boyfriend, at a private college here.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said that they received a report on the incident on Monday (July 14).

The suspect, a 21-year-old foreigner, allegedly slashed his ex-girlfriend, 20, at the university.

"The suspect was immediately arrested by the police following the incident. The cause of the attack is still under investigation," he said.

He added the victim suffered injuries to her neck and is currently in stable condition at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre.
