Body of pedestrian who fell into river after being hit by a car near Jalan Ipoh found


KUALA LUMPUR: The body of a pedestrian who fell into a river after being hit by a car has been found.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief ACP Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa confirmed that the body of the yet-to-be-identified man was discovered on Saturday (June 14) around 7.30am, approximately 150m from the accident site along Jalan Ipoh.

"The identity of the victim has yet to be determined, and the body has been sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for a post-mortem," he said.

On Friday (June 13), an accident involving two cars resulted in the collision with the pedestrian.

The collision also caused one of the cars to fall off the road and crash into metal pipes below.
