Mother and son found dead at Melaka home


MELAKA: A teacher and her 21-year-old eldest son were found covered in a pool of blood at their home in Taman Rambai Mutiara in Bukit Rambai, here.

It is understood that the victims' neighbours alerted police at about 6am on Thursday (June 12) after seeing a man, believed to be another son of the woman in her 50s, lying in a pool of blood on the road in front of the house.

A team of officers from the Batang Tiga Police Station arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation and found that two of the victims were allegedly murdered while another was injured.

Melaka police chief, Deputy Comm Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar is expected to hold a press conference later (June 12) to elaborate on the details of the alleged murder.
