Cops probing woman's claim she was hit by actor boyfriend


PETALING JAYA: Police are investigating a woman's allegation that she was assaulted by her boyfriend, a well-known actor, at a condominium in Damansara.

The woman lodged a police report at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail police station on Sunday (April 20), Sinar Harian reports.

"We received a report of an actor allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.

The case is under investigation," Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Shahrulnizam Ja'afar told the daily on Tuesday (April 22).

Earlier, the woman posted images of injuries to her eyes and body on social media.

She claimed they were inflicted by her boyfriend, who was described as being of stocky build.
