Fuel prices Feb 27-March 5: Unchanged across the board


KUALA LUMPUR: The retail prices of RON97 and RON95 petrol as well as diesel throughout the country will remain unchanged from Feb 27 to March 5.

The Finance Ministry, in a statement on Wednesday (Feb 26) said the retail prices of RM3.43 per litre for RON97 petrol and RM2.05 per litre for RON95 respectively would remain.

It also said the price of diesel would remain iunchanged at RM3.18 per litre in the Peninsula and RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan over the same period.

It said the prices were set based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism formula.

"The government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people," it added. – Bernama
