M'sian influencer Eyka missing in Bandung forest after 'paranormal activities'

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian social media personality Eyka has been reported missing after going into a forest in Bandung, Indonesia.

The 22-year-old influencer had entered the forest on Monday (Feb 3) for unspecified "paranormal activities", according to mStar.

The matter was confirmed to the portal on Wednesday (Feb 5) by her friend Ammar Nazhan, who was leading the group.

"At that time more than 20 people had joined the excursion but only seven, including Eyka, entered the forest.

"We realised she had gone missing at around 2am on Monday after doing 'paranormal activities' in the forest.

"She was the only woman who entered the forest and she was also on her period then," he said.

A police report was lodged after 48 hours as per the regulations of the country.

"Before lodging the report we also tried searching on our own.

"Nearby villagers, the police and army are also involved in the search.

"For now, we have not received any updates," Ammar said, adding that her family has been informed of her disappearance.
