PETALING JAYA: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's official X account was hacked, resulting in a post that promoted cryptocurrency.
A post on his official Facebook account on Wednesday night (Feb 5) reads: “The official Twitter (X) account of Tun Dr Mahathir (@chedetofficial) has been hacked. We are currently working to recover the account.”
The offending post on X has since been removed.
