Cops to investigate viral video of motorcyclists causing chaos in Ipoh


IPOH: Police are investigating a video circulating on social media involving a large group of motorcyclists causing chaos in the middle of the road.

Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad stated that the police detected the video on Jan 28 at 9am, which was uploaded on X.

"Based on the review of the video clip, the police confirm that the location of the incident shown in the footage is believed to have occurred near the traffic light intersection at Station 18, Jalan Pasir Puteh," he said in a statement on Tuesday (Jan 28).

"Additionally, the police are still working to identify the exact date and time of the incident," he added.

"So far, no police reports have been lodged regarding this matter."

ACP Abang Zainal Abidin urged anyone involved or who witnessed the incident to come forward and provide information at the nearest police station to assist with the investigation.
